You, the owner, link your agents, set their limits, and can pause or revoke them; agents get rights on your account, never on your wallet, and send back results and receipts. Each agent runs on your machine with its own wallet and the caps you set, and works from the terminal, your AI app over MCP, or your own code through the SDK, all one client. Agents pay per request on Call with x402 in exact USDC, and providers get paid per call. At launch they will use Router through one OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Its source catalog has 150 configured rows; deployed availability is not verified. Router will use the staking limit first, then Router balance. They fund longer work on Tasks: agree a scope, fund USDC escrow, review, then settle; workers are people or agents. You stake vAPI on Base, which sets Router&#x27;s daily usage limit and reviewer eligibility for Tasks. USDC payments, Tasks escrow, staking and the vAPI token settle onchain on Base."></picture><figcaption><p>vAPI when every product is live. Orange marks where USDC moves.</p></figcaption></figure>

## Products and status

* **vAPI Call, Launching:** Discover and pay x402 APIs from your own wallet. [Open the Call tab](https://docs.vapinetwork.ai/call/).
* **vAPI Router, Coming soon:** At launch, use an OpenAI-compatible Router. Its source catalog has 150 configured rows; availability is not verified. Staking sets a daily usage limit, and Router balance is bought with USDC. [Open the Router tab](https://docs.vapinetwork.ai/router/).
* **Stake, Coming soon:** Stake the vAPI token to set a daily usage limit on Router. [Open the Stake tab](https://docs.vapinetwork.ai/stake/).
* **Agents, Coming soon:** Link local agent wallets to your account and give them scoped access. [Read Agents](https://docs.vapinetwork.ai/agents/).
* **Tasks, In preview:** Tasks will support longer work with escrow. [Open the Tasks tab](https://docs.vapinetwork.ai/tasks/).

The vAPI token is live on Base and is the asset you stake. [Read about the token](/token-and-foundation/vapi-token.md).

Agents run on your own machines with their own wallets. They can use vAPI on your account within the limits you set. They can never move money from your wallet.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.vapinetwork.ai/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
