# Partner program

vAPI onboards each provider at the highest level its service supports. Under every route, you control your payout address and payment settles from the buyer to you. vAPI does not custody buyer funds.

1. **Native x402** (preferred). You already serve x402 from your origin. vAPI verifies the endpoint, response, and payment metadata, then lists you. vAPI stays outside the request path.
2. **Provider-deployed adapter** (default for keyed APIs). You deploy an open-source x402 adapter in front of your API. You keep your upstream key, your origin, and your payout address. Same checks as native.
3. **Hosted shim** (specified, not built). For providers that cannot deploy an adapter. It requires a separately reviewed rollout before it exists.
4. **Not listed.** A provider that fits none of the routes does not appear.

Payout verification is wallet-signed (standard) or origin-attested (partners only, recorded as an operator attestation). Partner status is an operator-approved promotion of a verified listing, never automatic.

**Integration levels:** verified Call listing → dedicated MCP tool (none live in the current beta) → named product integration.<br>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.vapinetwork.ai/for-vendors/partner-program.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
