# Fees

The Tasks preview documents settlement fees, dispute fees, and reviewer compensation from the Base Sepolia test deployment.

{% endhint %}

Tasks has a settlement fee, a dispute fee, and reviewer compensation. The values below come from the current contracts and Base Sepolia test deployment.

## Settlement fee

`FeeRouterV1` uses basis points with a denominator of 10,000. `EscrowFactoryV1` requires a 500 basis point platform fee, which is 5% of the worker allocation routed through the fee router. The router sends the net worker allocation to the worker and the fee to its configured treasury.

## Dispute fee

The dispute fee is 1,000 basis points of the escrow amount, with a 20 USDC minimum and a 500 USDC maximum. The opener deposits it when opening a dispute. The counterparty deposits the same amount when submitting counter-evidence.

The dispute fee is paid back or distributed on resolution as described in [Reviews and disputes](/tasks/reviews-and-disputes.md). It does not go to the treasury.

## Reviewer configuration

The current Base Sepolia test deployment records `reviewerFeeBps: 200`. This is a test-deployment configuration value, not a final fee decision.

When the panel resolves a matched dispute, the losing dispute deposit pays the reviewers who voted. Non-voters receive nothing. The exact split depends on the outcome and the voters recorded by the resolver.

No other Tasks fee is stated in the sources for this page.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.vapinetwork.ai/tasks/fees.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
